Mr. Stanley Burzynski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Burzynski of the town of Worde (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Verna Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Hoffman of Boyd, were united in marriage by Rev. J. N. Midtlien at two o’clock Saturday afternoon at Stanley. The couple was attended by Geo. Burzynski Jr., and Miss Gladys Hoffman.
The bride was attired in a white organdy over satin gown and wore a head wreath of orange blossoms. Her bridesmaid wore peach organdy over satin. The groom and his attendant wore dark blue suits.
A wedding reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents and in the evening a wedding dance was given at the American Legion Hall in Thorp. The couple will reside on a farm south of Thorp.
Among the guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Luebstorf and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Luebstorf and family of Stevens Point, Mr. and Mrs. Art Kuehn of Theresa, Mrs. Hubert Fritz and son Rueben of Kewaskum, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Navvarro of Milwaukee, Oscar Dahm of Ladysmith, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dahm and Miss Viola Turenne of Thorp.
